CF Industries, a world leader in the manufacturing and distribution of fertilizer and nitrogen products used in agriculture and industrial fields is currently seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor for our Distribution Facilities Engineering team.

This role will be responsible for various engineering projects and related maintenance tasks for the distribution network of facilities located throughout the United States.

We estimate domestic travel to be 55-65%. Travel will be both day travel, as well as overnight

This position has physical demands of being able to climb around the facilities and the equipment to understand the status, identify design opportunities, perform testing, and other related activities.

Job Purpose:
Completes engineering and maintenance projects by organizing and controlling project elements.

Duties:
* Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; conferring with management.

* Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements; reviewing bids from contractors.

* Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.

* Confirms product performance by designing and conducting tests.

* Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.

* Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.

* Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions.

* Controls project costs by approving expenditures; administering contractor contracts.

* Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.

* Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.

* Maintains project data base by entering and backing up new data.

* Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.

* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Skills:
Skills/Qualifications:

We require 3-5 years of related experience in plant engineering and/or plant mechanical maintenance activity. Must have direct experience in NDT, mechanical design, maintenance planning, piping. Desired skills include concrete, structure, rotating equipment.

Must be skilled in: Requirements Analysis, Design Skills, Project Management, Manufacturing Methods and Procedures, Process Improvement, Technical Understanding, Documentation Skills, Safety Management, Supervision, CAD

This position is ideally located in Terre Haute, IN. However, we will consider candidates in: Peoria, IL, and/or Minneapolis, MN
