DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position reports to the QA Inspection Supervisor and performs UT and PT inspections on metal parts; establishes best practices for a new SDI ultrasonic (C-Scan) inspection station.

Skills:
REQUIREMENTS:
• Documented evidence of training and experience which meets NAS 410 rev 3 requirements for Level 2 certification in UT and PT
• Familiarity with brazing and welding processes used in manufacturing aerospace components
• Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Must have intermediate skills using Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Formal NDT inspection training
• Two or more years of experience

OTHER PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES OR QUALITICATIONS (NOT REQUIRED)
• Experience in setting up new UT (C-Scan) inspection stations
• Other Level 2 NDT certifications
• Experience in brazing and welding inspection process development for new products

Because this position requires potential access to technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), the successful candidate must be a "U.S. person" as defined in the ITAR and EAR.
