The Drilling Quality Assurance and Process Specialist will be responsible for the development, revision control, and distribution of Quality Management Program (QMP) documentation (comprising, but not limited to, standard specification templates, guidelines, procedures and work flow processes). Additional responsibilities include assistance with the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management Program.
Basic Functions and Responsibilities
1. Steward the document development, revision control, review/approval, and distribution process
2. Interface with subject matter experts for the incorporation of required technical information during the document development process
3. Develop and publish monthly Quality News Letter
4. Assist with the development of global Quality Performance Indices and Key Performance Indicators for various goods and services
5. Assist with the assessment of Drill Teams for compliance with the QMP, Drill Team Quality Plan, and OIMS System 3-2
6. Assist with the mentoring and functional guidance to Drill Team Quality Representatives on the implementation of the QMP
7. Assist with the review of Drill Team Quality Plans for compliance with the QMP and OIMS System 3-2
8. Assist with the development of global checklist templates
Basic Relationships
1. Reports to the Global Quality Team Lead
2. Interfaces with the Global Quality Team, EMGS Quality Team, Drill Teams and subject matter experts

1. Thorough understanding of Quality Management Systems and processes
2. Proficient in writing and technical authorship of standards and documents
3. Ability to interface at a professional level
4. Basic understanding of Drilling principles and activities
5. Lead Auditor experience
6. Working on own initiative from provided conceptual ideas and objectives
7. Outlook and/or Lotus Notes and Microsoft office software competent
8. Ability to analyze data and plot trends
