SBM Atlantia is currently recruiting for an Inspection Documentation Assistant. The Inspection Documentation Assistant will be responsible for managing and monitoring all document duties assigned to various inspection projects. Expedite paper flow by maintaining a high standard of efficiency and accuracy, thereby giving the client the service they require.
The Inspection Documentation Assistant will manage and maintain department filing, project documents, job files, reports and correspondence; update the electronic filing system; receive and distribute all incoming documents received by fax and e-mail; provide timely access of technical documentation; and provide training, guidance and direction to personnel regarding the Technical Documentation processes in the areas of document coding, formatting, issuing and retrieval of information.

In addition, the Inspection Documentation Assistant will interface directly with all personnel, Inspectors and Engineering Companies to ensure procedures and protocols are understood and to provide direction and guidance concerning production and management of engineering documentation. Post and set up all technical documentation to project specific systems accessible to client, project staff and inspectors while maintaining at least 97% accuracy. And finally, disseminate technical information, through notification of availability in the VIP system or hard copy distribution, in accordance with standard contact/distribution matrices.
Skills:
REQUIREMENTS

Qualified candidates will possess at least a high school diploma with some college preferred. Relevant experience includes 5 years of experience with web-based document programs like Documentum or SAP. Any exposure to ISO principles is a plus.
