This position will schedule, coordinate, and execute industrial rope access (RAT) work throughout the State of Alaska for the company. Kakivik performs non-destructive testing, inspections, corrosion assessment, and other infrastructure related integrity management services. This position is responsible for the oversight and compliance to all relevant legislation, regulations, and standards. Leadership and compliance to company and client safety programs is paramount. This individual will coordinate with the HSE and Quality Managers on the continuous improvement of RAT procedures, safety, and project implementation.
Skills:
Possess current first aid and CPR cards
IRATA Level III certification
Must possess the ability to communicate effectively in front of groups
Must possess the ability to work independently
Familiar with Microsoft Office applications
Alaska oil industry experience preferred
Certification as a Level I or II NDT Technician in MT, PT, UT, VT, or RT a plus
IRATA Level III certification
