Job Summary

As the Quality Assurance Manager you will coordinate all activities required to maintain compliance with our ISO 9001, 10 Part CFR 50 Appendix B and NQA-1 Quality Assurance Program. In addition, you will provide NDT and Safety Training to Mistras Services Corporation employees, write NDT Procedures, manage and administrate the quality program elements, optimizing the effectiveness of the Quality Program, while working as a Management Team member.

Job Requirements

This position requires several years of nondestructive testing and quality assurance experience with direct involvement in the Nuclear Power Generation and/or Aerospace Industries (Nuclear experience is preferred). The candidate should have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, group facilitation skills, the ability to solve problems, and be a self starter, capable of working with minimal supervision. A Bachelor's degree is preferred (engineering, science, manufacturing, management or business), but not required. The successful candidate must have previous supervisory experience and be able to successfully deal with diverse work groups and work overtime as needed. Current level III NDT certifications desired but not required. Qualifications and capabilities required to become Level III certified is required.

Responsibilities
• Administrate, maintain and enhance the Quality Management System;
• Manage Internal Audits of technical personnel and suppliers;
• Evaluate and analyze processes, noncompliance’s, nonconformance’s, create effective corrective actions and preventative actions;
• Perform quality contract reviews, produce work and testing instructions, review and approve test and inspection reports;
• Respond to customer comments with the Management Team;
• Implement The Mistras Services Quality Program;
• Monitor and evaluate personnel capabilities.
