Certified Electrical Inspector

JOB DESCRIPTION: Electrical inspector duties to include inspecting of
electrical
work for a water plant.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Inspection of the following:
o Underground Conduit (Duct Bank/Manhole Pre-pour)
o Above Ground Conduit and Junction Box
o Conduit Seal Packing & Pouring
o Cable Tray Installation
o Cable Pre and Post Pulling Wire Way
o Terminations 600V or less
o Insulation Resistance (Power & Control Wire/Cables – Low Voltage 120V
or Less and Voltage 208V to 600V)
o Insulation Resistance (Instrument Wire & Cable)
o Fiber Optic Testing
o Grounding / Earthing (Electrode & Loop) Testing Record
o Grounding Continuity (Electrical Equipment & Ground Test Bars) Test
Record
o Lighting / Receptacle, and Power Panel (600V or Less)
o Lighting / Receptacle, and Power Panel Breaker (600V or Less) Test
Record
o Insulation Resistance (Transformer) Test Record
o Bus Duct Inspection Record
o Switchgear Inspection Record
o Motor Control Center (600V or Less) Inspection Record
o Breaker / Contractor (600V or Less) Inspection Record
o 480V Motor Circuit (480 V MCC) Inspection Record
o Insulation Resistance (Equipment 600V or Less) Test Record
o Electrical Motor Electrical Activities & Mechanical Activities Inspection
Record
o Electrical Motor Electrical Run-In-Test
o Insulation Resistance (Rotating Equipment 600V or Less) Test Record
o Insulation Resistance (Insulated Flanges)
o Switch Rack Inspection Record

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES:
• Must be a CA Certified Electrician.
• 3 to 5 years recent electrical inspection experience.
• Ability to meet company certification standards.
• Current drivers license from state of residence
• Drug and alcohol screens performed monthly.

Any job offer is contingent upon the successful completion of pre-
employment drug screen, physical and criminal background check. NO
FELONIES AND CLEAR DRIVING RECORD are required. All qualified candidates
for this position must be eligible to work in the United States without
sponsorship.

SHIFT/HOURS: TBD
PAY RATE: $45.00 to $48.00/hr. - DOE
