Manufacturer in Leander now hiring CNC Machinist for
lathe/mill cell, to produce complex parts from refractory
metals (molybdenum/tungsten) in low volume quantities rapidly
and efficiently. Position is full time, and will include
health, dental, vision coverage as well as paid time off.

Responsible for the set up and operation of mills and lathes.
Our complex, high precision work requires individuals familiar
with tight geometric tolerances, skilled in interpreting
blueprints and accustomed to working independently to select
tooling, set up, operate, adjust settings and inspect their
own work.
Skills:
Familiar with high precision inspection tools and
techniques. Participation in planning, training and problem
solving is expected. Your main job duties will include but
are not limited to: Program and set up CNC machines with
Fanuc controls, monitor product visually and take corrective
action when necessary, ensures product is consistent with
established specifications, follow and enforce all
procedures, escalate quality issues as appropriate and
ensure highest possible product quality and adherence to the
our quality system, ISO and/or other standards.

Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, possess basic
math skills and have the ability to use a variety of hand
tools, machine tools and precision measuring instruments.

High School graduation or equivalent required
Trade school, apprenticeship, college training or any other
formal secondary education a plus
At least 4 years experience with precision machining
Evident Ultrasonic Inspection Equipment
