3 Level II UTT NDT Technicians

Position Summary
Our Clarksville Tn operation is in need of NDT Technician, this role will be
performing UT Thickness, Visual inspection, cutting inspection ports, isometric
drawings,and interpretation, providing visual notes and customer reports on
overhead piping, towers, drums, exchangers, flare stacks, etc.,

Responsibilities
Need to be able to Follow P&ID's and Red line them if changes are needed.
Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using
ultrasonic thickness,visual (liquid penetrant, magnetic particle is a big plus) and
other nondestructive testing methods
Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection,
ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
Interpret ultrasonic instrument presentations, digital readouts, and visual
indicators
Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards
and evaluate results
Organize and report test results
May instruct and supervise trainees
Requirements
High School Diploma
Level II UT Thickness
Level II VT ,MT,PT
Strong technical background in NDT methods and procedures.
Documentation of NDE Formal Classroom training/time-in-method required.
Physical Demands
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to climb ladders up to 100 ft multiple times per day
Ability to climb stairs up to 100 ft multiple times per day
Ability to work up to 16 consecutive hours. (Normal workday is 8 hours;
however, could work longer)
Ability to enter confined spaces through small entryways requiring bending and
twisting to enter and exit
Ability to repetitively bend and or twist for most of the 12 hour shift to reach
inspection areas
Must wear safety harness while climbing through pipe rack
Ability to work at <100 feet heights, confined spaces and highly volatile
industry situations
