JOB SUMMARY

Operations Manager provides onsite management of all day to day production activities for the North Slope Mistras Project.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

Directly reports to the Project Manager.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

The Operations Manager manages staffing, resources, worksite assignment, and specific projects under the direct supervision of the Department Coordinators. Under direction from the Project Manager, the Operations Manager assures that production Key Performance Indicators goals are met.

OPERATIONAL SUPPORT
• Provide supervision and support to the operations department;
• Manage a broad spectrum of personnel, logistics and vehicles;
• Conducts planned site inspections including vehicles, work area, field conditions, etc.;
• Manages, updates and reports project KPI’s to the Project Manager
• Acts as a liaison between management and operational workforce.
• Ensures timely completion of "deadline driven" projects

COMMUNICATIONS
• Provides frequent updates to Project Manager
• Primary liaison for Mistras Management & project personnel
• Sounding board for project personnel
• Provides oversight of all incidents and investigations in accordance with Mistras corporate and client policies

QUALIFICATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS

The Operations manager will have at minimum an API 570 certification along with ASNT level II in RT and UT testing. Preferred requirements are:
• API 653 and 510 certifications
• ASNT level III RT

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

Individual must be able to enter buildings and worksites without any special assistance i.e.… handicap ramps etc... The individual must be capable of using stair ways and non handicap access entry and exit locations without assistance. Individual must be capable of using arms and legs with normal full range of motion.

No special physical demands or work environments exist for the Operations Manager position.

Individuals will work a 2-3 weeks on/2-3 weeks off, 7 days/week, 11.5 hours/day schedule. Work turnaround hours for half the year, get the other half off, AND get benefits at NO COST to you! We are seeking someone that can seriously give at least a 1-2 year commitment. This is a FULLTIME position with benefits. We are not seeking short term contractors.

Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Employees must also undergo rope access training.
