IRISNDT MATRIX is a full-service nondestructive testing and materials engineering company with 10 ofices in the US. We have an immediate opening for a Draftsman/AutoCAD Technician / Document Coordinator in the Terre Haute, IN area.
Skills:
Qualifications
Associates Degree (or equivalent training) in the field of drafting
Proficient in the use of AutoCAD
Capable of walking down isometric and construction drawings in the field and generate isometric drawings based on the piping, tank and pressure vessel layouts
Capable of generating field isometric sketches based on field verification of geometries and layouts
Must be able to comply with all safe work practices
Must possess good verbal and written communication skills and technical report writing skills
Must be proficient in the use of personal computers, spreadsheets, word processing and databases
Must possess good organizational skills and be able to manage a large number of tasks concurrently
Position is for full-time work, for a 2 to 3 year term
Candidate must live in or near Terre Haute, Indiana (or be willing to relocate)
A personal vehicle is required to get to the work location (plant site) 10 minutes from Terre Haute
Wages negotiable depending upon qualifications and experience
