Experienced NDI Technician, Supervisor, QA Inspector, and Manager with comprehensive technical training and extensive know-how in varied inspection methods of aircraft, engines, components, and ground support equipment. Advanced knowledge level of required metals critical for NDI and interpretation of blueprints, specifications, and technical manuals. Supervised over 20 NDI inspectors to cover 2 major aircraft groups consisting of about 250 fixed and rotary winged, passenger and cargo, military aircraft. - Applied visual, and dye penetrant, magnetic particle, eddy current, ultrasonic, radiographic methods to identify defects, stress points, and beyond tolerances condition.
- Conducted sample analysis and comparative testing according to technical specifications.
- Achieved high aircraft readiness levels by establishing strict procedures designed to expedite completion of inspections resulting in quicker maintenance turn-around time.
- Lead QA Inspector, oversaw 11 QA Inspectors, developed, and implemented inspection activities to verify and validate aircraft component conditions, and installation of key aircraft dynamic, and flight control surfaces for over 70 Marine and Navy combat aircraft.
- Organized and scheduled inspection duties for 7 day / 24 hour coverage of 11 aircraft intermediate maintenance divisions. Consisting of over 30 work centers and 420 aircraft technicians, and support personnel.

Oversee and supervise all administrative support functions for aircraft maintenance and repair activities. Managed organization’s personnel performance evaluation, training, and manpower programs. Advised and assisted supervisors, managers, and executives in coordinating and implementing cross-functional processes to gain the most productive and economical results.

Aug 1997 to June 1998: Quality Assurance Manager, MALS, MCAS Iwakuni, Japan

Managed and directed all QA Inspection activities, trained inspectors in selecting, setting up, and calibrating specialized equipment and tools.

June 1995 to Aug 1997: Power Plants Department Supervisor, MALS, MCAS Iwakuni, Japan

Supervised all aspects of intermediate maintenance activity, consisted of repairs and inspections on the General Electric F404-400 and 402 engine and Modules for the F/A18 aircraft, the Rolls Royce F402-406 and 408 AV8 Harrier engine, and the Pratt & Whitney J-52 engine for the A-6 and EA-6 Intruder.
