Seeking a qualifed NDT Examiner (must be ASNT Level III-UT certified) to work for a very stable corporation, who is a world leader in the manufacture, supply, and distribution of industrial, medical, and specialty gases. Resolve technical issues and recommend nondestructive test methods for specific applications.
Establish and maintain computer program files for cylindrical specimens in thickness and flaw detection
Mechanical experience preferred in automated or semi-automated industrial process flow.
Experience preferred in process quality control procedures.
Interpret and comply with governing authority standards, i.e. (DOT, CFR \parts and sub-chapters).
Write and conduct UT level I and II training plans in accordance with applicable standards.
Conduct personnel surveillances.
Conduct NDT program audits.
Prepare and administer certification examinations.
Write and administer NDT operating and inspection procedures.
Write and administer NDT written practices.
Prepare and submit technical reports.
Prepare and submit NDT program reports.
Organizational skills preferred in engineering project planning and budget management, including procurement of industrial equipment.
Computer skills preferred in Microsoft Windows 95 and Microsoft Windows NT applications. Experience / Education:
Current Nondestructive Test certification in accordance with the American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT-TC1A), or equivalent as a Level III Ultrasonic Test Examiner (longitudinal and transverse beam ).
3 years experience preferred.
Bachelor of Science Degree.
