We seek high-performing and resourceful individuals to join our team. We are currently seeking an NDT Certified (Level II) for our Houston Sales Office.
The selected candidate will evaluate TMK IPSCO tubular products previously sold in the event of a claim for damage or defective product. The NDT Certified (Level II) will also evaluate the physical condition of unsold TMK IPSCO products in inventory at TMK IPSCO approved stocking locations.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Reviewing all pipe claims and disposition the claim appropriately
• Maintaining accurate reporting of all activities and complaints
• Examining threads, protectors, stencil, and pipe body for damage or deterioration
• Maintaining records and logs of inventory evaluation and completing audit forms as needed
• Assisting with providing accurate inventory counts at all stock locations
• Visiting customer rig sites, yards, inspection companies, etc as needed to successfully resolve customer concerns
• Performing other duties as assigned
Skills:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Requires a college degree or at least 5 years of relevant industry experience; oilfield and/or pipe mill production/QA experience is desirable
• Certification to ASNT TC-1a Level 1 or Level II in Ultrasonics and competency in inspection of API threads required; certification to Level II or higher in NDT methods is a plus
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience with heat treating, upsetting, premium connections, and electro-magnetic and magnetic particle inspection methods for pipe and tube are highly preferred
