Imperium, Inc. is seeking a Sales Manager for our Petrochemical products to drive sales of its revolutionary and patented ultrasound camera NDT systems for the oil and gas industry along the Gulf coast. The technology is a new, highly capable technique for users of ultrasonic testing NDT equipment.

Imperium's products are meant to instantly detect corrosion and other anomalies within piping, storage facilities, vessels, etc. Our systems provide data that is easy to interpret and highly reliable, providing both high resolution imagery and thickness readings, resulting in a significant opportunity for cost savings.

Candidates must have a significant background in NDT, preferably a Level II UT certification. Must have at least 10 years experience in nondestructive testing (NDT) sales management with high growth in ultrasonics. Preference will be considered for candidates who have successfully introduced new nondestructive testing tools into the marketplace. Tasks include setting up sales channels, identifying business opportunities and applications, and assembling world class sales talent. Specific candidate requirements include:

-Understand, validate product value proposition
-Generate worldwide distributor network plan
-Get endorsements from key OEM’s with the intent of widespread deployments
-Detailed understanding of product (current and planned)
-Establish, implement, and maintain marketing program, including but not limited to tradeshows, advertising (print and online), press releases, endorsements, website, analyst exposure, product sourcebooks, webinars, seminars, etc.
-Account management/manage sales funnel
-Prospect outreach (cold calling as needed)
-Provide input to product direction
-Look at customer samples, write reports and quotations
-Ensure we’re getting most out of current customer/distributor network
-Have detailed understanding of legacy products and competition
-Be highly aggressive and proactive
-Communicate with management and Board
