SUMMARY
Create a schedule for the shop floor, managing customer orders from order entry through delivery by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Create schedule for the production teams to meet customer demand. Support assigned production teams in order to meet customer delivery dates, managing the capacity for long-term planning. Maintain data accuracy within ERP system and follow-up on applicable Action/Exception messages.
Act as the point of contact for scheduling issues. Review production schedules and related information with department supervisors to validate accuracy. Ability to adapt to an ever changing production environment that may require daily changes to schedules and priorities.
Prioritize order release per material availability and customer requirements. Communicate job priorities, delivery commitments and potential problems to Production Planning Group Team Leader.

Skills:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university; or one to two years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. \

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift/move materials weighing up to 25lbs repeatedly.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Excellent communication skills. Ability to effectively use MS Office and ERP software. Ability to understand ISO9000 policies, procedures and work instructions. Ability to understand Good Manufacturing Practices. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, purchase orders and contracts, and operating procedures. Ability to write routinereports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
APICS and/or CPIM certification desired.
