Job Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for inspecting products and
materials, for conformance to specifications, using fixed or
preset measuring instruments.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Performs visual and dimensional inspection of parts
in process and finished goods to ensure compliance with
drawings and specifications.
• Performs NDT inspection of parts in process and
finished goods to ensure within compliance with drawings and
specifications.
• Works with written procedures, drawings and
specifications.
• Uses database information and understanding of
geometric tolerances on drawings to perform inspections.
• Ensures parts are in accordance with established
tolerance levels for quality and performance and are not
irregular or damaged.
• Makes accept/reject decisions on product and suggest
possible corrections to processes or equipment to prevent
recurring problems.
• Maintains documentation of inspections.
• Other duties as assigned.
• May be required to travel internationally.
Requirements:
• Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced
environment to assure delivery requirements.
• Ability to keep accurate records.
• Ability to interpret written procedures,
specifications and drawings.
• Knowledge of Quality System processes and
procedures.
• Good communication skills, written, and verbal.
• Ability to obtain passport/TWIC card/etc.
Educational Requirements or Experience:
• High School diploma or GED
• Must have a minimum of ASNT TC-1A Level II, MT, PT,
and UTT certification.
• 1-2 years experience preferred.
• Preferred, but not required UT Shearwave/TOFD/AUT.
• Experience/Knowledge in electronics
Physical Requirements:
• Standing, bending, sitting, lifting up to 50 lbs,
squatting and walking for 8-10 hours per day.
• Exposure to Production Environment.
