This position will be responsible to:
„X Ensure operations of Nondestructive Testing Process as held within customer/internal quality requirements.
1.Maintain records per customer requirements and develop internal and external process procedures.
2.Review and approve Product Criteria.
3.Investigate new material, equipment, and techniques for Nondestructive Testing.
4.Monitor calibration procedures and schedules and review all incoming customer specification.
4.Serve as focal point for customer and general NDT audits.
5.Order, test, and maintain raw materials.
6.Produce daily scrap report and contact engineers to inform of problems on specific parts.
7.Maintain and ensure uninterrupted accreditation and/or certifications NADCAP, AS9100.

Skills:
Position Requires:
*BS in a technical field or equivalent experience.
*1-3 years NDT verifiable experience; aerospace experience a plus.
*Must meet all requirements of Level I position or Level II certification to NAS-410.
*Must pass annual Jaeger vision exam.
Preferred Qualifications Include:
*Thorough knowledge of all aspects of NDT inspection and sound knowledge of Quality systems.
*Ability to communicate with inspectors on all shifts and keep records of results.
*Bilingual English-Spanish (Preferred)
*Ability to work with minimum supervision. Independent judgment is required. Step into supervisory role as needed/required.
*Understanding of lean manufacturing practices.
*Self-starter; ability to work effectively in a team environment.
*Requires travel and overtime with short notice.
