Position Title: Business Development Manager

Position Summary:

The office currently generates approximately $65mm/yr in
revenue from standard inspection, in various industry
segments in the NDT market. While Houston has shown
tremendous growth in last 7 years, future increased growth
expectations from Mistras Service Group will require a
higher level of management expertise and sales skill to
assist the Regional Sales Effort in maintaining its growth
goals. A more structured approach and a higher level of
customer contact along with management of the present and
future sales effort is necessary to provide innovative
solutions, reduced customer cost and the delivery of higher
value, to enable the beginning of a transition from standard
NDT to the "higher-end/higher margin" services provided by
Mistras NDT, PdM and Engineering services.

In an opportunistic market we want to capitalize on the
future growth and higher margin potential that will be the
basis for our advanced NDE service blend goal of 70/30 – not
simply taking calls and deploying crews. The basis of this
position is to add a seasoned, mature individual to assist
the sales effort in pursuing high return prospects,
capitalizing on the advance service offerings while
simultaneously upselling this blend to current and future
evergreen clients. Additionally, through innovative
solutions and full service offerings, savings can be
realized by the customer while margin improvements are still
accomplished by MISTRAS. This position will be tasked with
helping to develop, implement and promote specific
methodologies related to the Oil and Gas market such as
mechanical integrity, key performance indicators and other
technical solutions as determined by management.

This position will ensure we continue our forward-thinking,
innovative style. It is imperative that this position
emulates those strengths to other divisions and regions
throughout Mistras thus strengthening the company as a
whole. The end game, is that we will be better positioned –
even in a lower revenue market – for high, profitable,
advanced relationships with our existing and ever-growing
customer base.
