NDE/NDT Technician

Our client is looking for NDE Technicians to work in multiple locations throughout Canada. We are looking for NDE/NDT Technicians with the following work package experiences : Boiler and Heat Exchange Maintenance, Eddy Current Acquisition, FAC, Turbine Conventional, QC, Feeder Inspection, Phased Array, PIP, Steam Generator and Heat Exchanger Analysis, TRUSTIE Data Acquisition Resolution Analysis and Steam Generator and Heat Exchanger Data Management. When applying please designate which package you are qualified for.

Preferred candidates will have a QCCC (Quality Control Council of Canada) membership.

Preferred candidates will also have CGSB (Canadian General Standards Board) with UT, MT, PT, RT, or VT.

In addition to the following :

Demonstrated ability to perform inspections, including setting up corrosion surveys, and interpreting results of found indications for all certified methods

Knowledge of applicable industrial codes and standards

Ability to produce intricate and accurate isometric drawings of vessels and piping

Ability to produce succinct reports to communicate status of assigned projects in a timely manner

Excellent planning and organizational skills with strong verbal and written communication abilities

Strong leadership abilities to assist training new technicians

Strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills

Strong working knowledge of MS office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook)

Ability to make sound decisions and take responsibility for actions and recommendations
