POSITION SUMMARY: Accountable for writing company inspection procedures in accordance with ASNT-SNT- TC1-A. Work with the Training Manager and assist in the development of curriculum as well as instruct courses as needed. Oversee and assist efforts in maintaining company ISO 9001/2008 standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


• Confers with management and project personnel to provide technical advice and resolve problems.

• Assist in managing ISO 9001:2008 quality system including internal audits, root cause evaluations, corrective/preventive action process, internal audits, documentation and resolves quality issues while maintaining compliance with applicable quality standards.

• Provide technical assistance to purchasing to facilitate improved quality of purchased NDE equipment and evaluate potential suppliers.

• Develop, revise, review and comment on NDE procedures and techniques. Participate in developing procedures in accordance with industry codes and client specifications.

• Provide NDE knowledge and support to Inspection staff and clients. Assist in the development of NDE applications for use in the field. Manage and resolve technical issues with clients

• Keep up to date on current and developing technology and make recommendations that will benefit company goals

• Ability to read and interpret drawings and documents such as codes, standards, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

• Teach, train and communicate ASNT guidelines to effectively provide a qualified workforce to clients when needed

Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Need excellent planning, organizational and time management skills with attention to detail and written, verbal and interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with others in a professional manner. Proven ability to work effectively alone and in small teams. Prior offshore, oilfield inspection and/or non-destructive testing (NDT) experience helpful. Must have flexibility to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment with constantly changing priorities and ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines under minimal supervision. Also requires flexibility regarding overtime and out-of-town or overseas travel when needed.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment is indoors/outdoors during the day and occasionally at night. Employee must be willing and able to meet any HSE requirements that may be required by Oceaneering or any specified client to enter and perform their job duties in the designated work area
