CTL is seeking an experienced and qualified Structural Steel Field Supervisor for its corporate office in Columbus, Ohio.

Job Description

CTL Engineering is searching for a qualified candidate with welding and high strength bolt experience. Duties include inspection and testing of structural steel during erection on general commercial building and industrial sites as well as fabrication plant inspections. Experience with construction and structural steel erection and knowledge of AWS and AISC specifications desired. Certification is also desired. The position also may involve some supervision or coordination activities of other structural steel technicians and project management. This is a full time permanent position.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent

Must be able to communicate with various internal levels of the company as well as outside consultants, owners, architects, and general contractor personnel.

Five years related experience required.

AWS CWI (D1.1 and NDT Level II UT certifications desired. ICC certifications a plus.

Solid computer and written skills required
