Skills:
This role is located in Deer Park, Texas and may require
some short-term travel. This is a long-term permanent role
with an opportunity for advancement and potential for being
trained in Phased Array. The successful candidate will be
expected to examine weldments and materials and detect,
characterize and size flaws, corrosion, erosion and
imperfections using conventional ultrasonic examination
techniques. The ideal candidate will have experience in
plant and fabrication site inspection.

•A current and valid Level II UT certification from an
authorized certifying body, 2-years direct shear wave UT
experience;
•Level II MT and Level II PT certifications;
•PMI Hardness Testing considered an asset;
•Expertise in setting up and calibrating equipment,
evaluating and interpreting weld examination results with
respect to both ASME and AWS codes;
•Ability to mentor and guide assistants or Level I
technicians;
•Commitment to health, safety and environmental best
practices, policies and procedures;
•Proven capability of maintaining accurate and up-to-date
project documentation, and ability to manage projects and
teams in accordance to site regulations and expectations;
and,
•Valid Driver’s license and pre-screen drug and alcohol
screening required.
