Major Aerospace Manufacturer located in Santa Ana who is a leading supplier of lightweight, high-strength, heat-resistant and noise-suppression structures. With complete in-house structural design and analysis, tooling, and manufacturing capabilities, includes over thirty years of solving structural problems for commercial and military aircraft, space vehicles, missiles, naval vessels, and other transportations, environmental, commercial, and industrial applications.

JOB FUNCTION / PURPOSE
To perform in-process and final inspections on the Assembly Area to assure compliance to the Quality System, Specifications and Customer requirements for Industrial and Military/Aerospace products.
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

MUST HAVE Level II (RT) radiographic testing along with experience using (PT) Penetrate Testing using procedures and certifications to be considered for this position.

Determines conformance of parts and materials to specifications.
Identify and control all nonconforming products.
Conduct inspection on complex machined parts, castings, weldments and assemblies per blueprint, manufacturing outline, Customer's specifications and customer requirements utilizing various types of inspection equipment set up.
Document inspection results in accordance with company procedures and work instructions.
Review material's chemical and physical certification and test reports against specification requirements.
Review Heat Treat certifications against specification requirements.
Review of coatings, NDT, welding, certifications against specification requirements.
Perform First Article Inspection to SAE AS9102 Standards and Customer's requirements.
Receives instructions from work orders and engineering specifications, build documents, manufacturing processes, standard procedure, or other approved product descriptions.
Verifies suitability of process plans and tooling to assure compliance to engineering requirements or approved specifications

Skills:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in NDT Inspection of Aerospace parts.

PT/RT Certification required

Clean Background and ability to take and pass drug test before starting

Must live in the OC/LA or IE area of Southern California
Evident Ultrasonic Inspection Equipment
