Specialist.

Location: Chattanooga, TN, or Windsor, CT preferred. All
other locations in the U.S. considered based on experience
level and practicality to field assignments, as well as
convenient access to a major airport.

Description:

Establish inspection techniques to find defect
mechanisms.
Construction inspection procedures and essential
variables.
Assist in technique development with R&D lab
technology.
Read and interpret various sections of the AMSE Section
V code for procedural compliance.
Verify ultrasonic weld inspection coverage using beam
tool and Tomoview to cover various weld configurations and
sound paths a plus.
Assist with technical presentations on inspection
capabilities as needed.
Assist in probability of detection (POD) studies.
Capable of providing technical direction and guidance
of a small group of NDE Technicians.

Skills:
Minimum Requirements:
Certifiable to Level II in ALL of the following methods:
MT, PT, VT and UT (shearwave)
Advanced UT experience required (shearwave)
Automated and phased array experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret various sections of the ASME
Section V code
Minimum of 5 years experience in boiler and power plant
inspections or nuclear power preferred
Aptitude for managing multiple small projects
Prior project management and project engineering experience
is not required but a plus
Proven customer service experience
Strong communications skills
Significant travel - (domestic and international) will be
required, 50-60%
Authorized to work in the U.S. without any further action by
the Company
