The Organization
The Account Manager for Acuren US has primary reporting to the General Manager of Acuren US and "dotted lines" to the General Managers of Acuren regions. The Acuren US General Manager has or will have a peer corporate staff including a CFO, Business Development Manager, HR Director and the Regional General Managers reporting to him all focused on Acuren US.

The Opportunity
Acuren US has created the new role of Account Manager to consolidate nationwide management of individual large account clients under one individual. The Account Manager role would include the following activities:

• Understand the client’s NDT, materials engineering, mechanical integrity program, industrial access and mechanical services requirements from a global, regional and local perspective.
• Bring all of Acuren and RAT’s resources to bear on addressing those requirements and continuing to grow the client service relationship. Continually educate and familiarize key client decision makers with Acuren and RAT’s capabilities.
• Oversee Acuren’s service to the client at existing client facilities, as well as initiating sales efforts to expand the service relationship to other client facilities not currently served by Acuren.
• Manage Acuren’s client relationship at the corporate level, including corporate engineering, research & development, and purchasing departments. Thoroughly understand the client organization, structure, dynamics, business issues with a view to finding new opportunities for Acuren.
• Lead periodic facility stewardship and service review meetings, document follow up actions and coordinate completion of items with the Regional GM and local operating management.
• Work to understand potential service line additions and related technology.

The Candidate will be/will have:
• An undergraduate degree, preferably technically oriented, from a highly regarded university with strong academic performance.
• Management experience with a progressive career in technical and / or industrial services, especially in relevant vertical markets of power generation, oil & gas, refinery, and infrastructure management, with account management responsibility (as defined above) for at least $15 million in annual revenue.
• Experience in consultative selling and relationship management with clients
• Highly effective in leading, motivating and influencing entrepreneurial managers; can break down barriers and parochial thinking in favor of standardized common platforms for conducting business
• A team player, confident and humble, able to engage with both corporate and regional operating management.
• An impressive track record of business and market development and new service offerings through greater technical differentiation and margin advantages, national in scope
• Capable of transforming the business model and customer relationship from a commodity service to a value-added supplier/partnership
• Intelligent; financially and business savvy
• Agile and fluent in metrics-driven and continuous-improvement culture
• Articulate and direct communicator with the utmost integrity
• Intense, self-sufficient and a self-starter; very committed with a great work ethic
• Capacity, flexibility and aspiration to contribute more broadly within Rockwood Service Corp.
