We are seeking a Manufacturing Radiographic Inspector Level II to join our growing quality team.

Job Responsibilities

As a RT Level II you will interpret or evaluate test results in accordance with applicable codes, standards, specifications, or procedures.

Additional responsibilities of the RT Level II include:

• Performing hands-on X-Ray (Image acquisition) of weld repairs, pipe-end and jointer welds with DR and/or CR techniques to Evraz radiation safety and NDT procedures
• Interpreting images for pass/fail to applicable codes, stores images and processes pipe to written instructions
• Performing on the job training of RT Level I and Radiographer Assistants with respect to radiation safety, image acquisition, image interpretation and processing of pipe

Job Requirements

As a RT Level II you must be able to work in an environment subject to fluctuations in heat, humidity, fumes, odors, dust and noise.

Additional requirements of the RT Level II include:

• 2 years of hands-on experience with industrial X-ray and image interpretation of weldments of steel fabricated products to AWS, API, ASME or codes with equivalent acceptance criteria. Documented CR and DR training preferred.
• Documents of certification to RT Level II (per: ASNT SNT-TC-1A )
• Industrial Radiation Safety Certification (ASNT/IRRSP) or documented 40 hours Radiation Safety training which applies towards IRRSP certification
• Ability to pass vision acuity exams as required to SNT-TC-1A or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail, close observation and concentration skills
• Excellent decision making, planning and organizational skills
• Good manual dexterity, eye-hand coordination, mechanical aptitude
• Successful completion of ergonomics evaluation of physical requirements of position (routinely requires standing, walking, lifting up to 20 lbs.)
• Ability to work long hours and rotating shifts
