Gulf Coast Regional Tank Manager is a focused approach that solves problems in a specific industry or inspection methodology by synthesizing Traditional and Advanced NDT techniques along with standardized procedures and reporting. Provides comprehensive tank testing programs adhering to API-653 in service and out of service inspections guidelines, and our customized non-intrusive tank inspection program that allows owners to determine the relative condition of their storage tanks without entering the asset.
Essential duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to, the following:

• Candidates must be highly motivated with exceptional work ethics, dependability, positive outlook and strong inspection background with leadership skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, telephone and follow-up skills.
• Experience of both in-service and out-of-service Above Ground Storage tank inspections; new construction and repair QA/QC experience is a plus.
• Ensure consistency and uniformity throughout Mountain Regional Mistras labs conducting Tank inspection by utilizing standardized procedures, equipment, training and reporting tools.
• Able to complete tasks in accordance with project procedures and applicable codes and/or standards. Able to discuss routine technical problems and communicate effectively with immediate supervisor and other project personnel.
• Set performance objectives and measures for Tank Inspectors.
• Ensure all offices are creating uniform reports using TankReporter software.
• Assisting in training and educating of all employees involved with Tank inspection.
• Conduct job site visits to audit performance and quality of Tank Inspection Services.
• Assist in the growth of tank inspection services to assigned labs.
• Expand advanced services market in relation to tank inspection.
• Prepare proposals for tank inspection projects.
• Audit final inspection reports.
• Monitor tank inspection reports completed and distributed to client in a timely manner per client.
• Project a knowledgeable, enthusiastic, positive behavior that encourages customer confidence and reflects the professional image desired by Mistras.
• Travel throughout the assigned region as required.


Skills:
Minimum Requirements:

• API 653 Certification
• Minimum of 8+ years’ experience of both in-service and out-of-service Above Ground Storage tank inspections; new construction and repair QA/QC experience is a plus.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Auto Cad is a plus.
• Any other NDE or Certifications is a plus.
