We are seeking an RT Assistant/End X-ray Helper to join our growing production team in Portland, Oregon.

Job Responsibilities

Perform X-ray of pipe-end SAW welds with a CR (Fuji) radiographic system. UT experience in lamination/thickness testing and/or radiographic experience with API 5L, AWS or equivalent is desirable. This individual would aspire to the Radiographer position.

Job Requirements

• Certification to basic in-house radiation safety training course and ASNT SNT-TC-1A UT Level I is required Current IRRSP Radiation Safety Certificate a plus
• Level I Ultrasonic Testing Certification or 400 hours experience in the field
• 20/22 Corrected Near Vision in both eyes (tested annually)
• Strong attention to detail, close observation and concentration skills
• Excellent decision making, planning and organizational skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Good manual dexterity, eye-hand coordination, mechanical aptitude
• Completion of Basic Math Assessment required
• Able to work in an environment subject to fluctuations in heat, humidity, fumes, odors, dust and noise
