Visual and PT inspections on Pipe Support
Systems for geothermal power plants. Job location in
Imperial Valley area of southern California. Work schedule
to be minimum 40 hrs per week (overtime would be at customer
discretion as needed). Must be able to climb ladders and
work with fall protection. Project to begin in approx 2-3
weeks from today. Duration for first plant anticipated 4-6
weeks with strong possibility of additional inspections of 4
more plants of comparable size. This first round of
inspections will be "hot" readings. "Cold" reading will be
done in the near future. Would like to use same inspector
for both readings provided customer is agreeable.

VT/PT - Experience with pipe support systems such as base
supports and variable spring cans is a must. Must be EITHER
CWI with PT LII or be PT LII certifiable OR be certified VT
LII with PT LII. Must be able to self-supervise. Must be
skilled in detailed documentation and be able to digitally
document inspected area(digital pictures). Must be able to
climb ladders and work with fall protection. Must be familiar
with ASME B31.1 code.
