We are currently seeking a Night Shift Supervisor for our client's facility in Abilene, TX.

Must have at least 3-5 years experience in Manufacturing Plant Management. Must also have hands-on experience achieving safety, quality and production/productivity targets and be a Certified Welding Inspector.

Job Details: (to include but not limited to)
Supervise activities of production workers, assist administration manager and perform a variety of other supervision duties, with the emphasis on Safety and Supervising by performing the following duties:

- Prioritizes activities in each work center to ensure productivity and throughput targets are met everyday
- Assigns job duties
- Coordinate flow of product in most efficient sequence
- Monitor and control production output of each work center
- Ensures all equipment is maintained to support production targets
- Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product
- Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists employees in solving work problems
- Ability and experience initiating and executing plans to motivate workers to achieve work/production goals
- Review of employee time and attendance cards/reports to insure correct reporting
- Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities between shifts and individual departments – Personally involved in all shift hand-offs
- Ability to conduct him or herself in a disciplined and professional manner. Abides by and endorses all company rules and procedures set forth by the Company
- Responsible for all aspects of training production employees on the night shifts
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Investigate safety related and employees related issues
- Leads, guides, and trains employees on policies, procedures, safety related matters and company objectives
- Assist with other projects as needed
- Ability to follow established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, safety, environmental, and/or infectious control standards
