Ensure welding and NDE activity is carried out in accordance with approved Welding Procedure Specifications and Project Specifications and Procedures.
Perform routine inspection, monitoring and testing of Welding Activities
Ensure implementation of all requirements of relevant Codes & Standards, Welding Specifications and Method Statements
Knowledge of Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), X- and Gamma Radiographic Tesing (RT), Industrial Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
Perform routine inspection, monitoring and testing of Welding Activities
Ensure implementation of all requirements of relevant Codes & Standards, Welding Specifications and Method Statements
Knowledge of Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), X- and Gamma Radiographic Tesing (RT), Industrial Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
Skills:
Must be able to perform Controlled Inspections and testing on Construction Materials
Inspectors for Structural Steel, Rebar, Concrete, Soil, Masonry
Preferred Certifications: CWI,ACI,NICET,AWS,NDT,LevelII
Ability to travel thruout NYC to multiple job sites on a daily basis
Must be able to communicate effectively with clients and company
Prepare and electronically submit daily reports; organized and efficient
Prepare samples and test materials as needed
