CNC Machinist – milling, vertical machining center, VMC, set up
A long time corporation with a growing product line is expanding their Connecticut operation. This corporation has many team members with over 20 years of stable employment. They offer low cost health, dental and life insurance with a flexible health savings account and disability. This corporation also offers a 401K with a company match, as well as, profit sharing. Due to the increase of sales and market share, we are looking for machinists with vertical machining centers / milling experience. The ideal machinist will have a minimum of 5 years of milling experience. Knowledge of VMC ( vertical machining centers ) is strongly preferred. Experience setting up cutting tools and fixtures along with minor editing is needed. Knowledge of M&G codes and/or Mastercam software is a plus. Interested candidates with heavy set up and CNC programming will be compensated more. This is a first shift opportunity. The ideal candidate will have experience indicating in fixtures, download / call up CNC programs and inspect components. Knowledge of blueprint reading is a plus. Machinists looking for a good first shift opportunity with a growing company should apply.
