We are currently seeking a NDT Manager for our Raleigh, NC branch office. Relocation is negotiable.

Nondestructive Testing Manager

The NDT Manager will be responsible for the day to day operations of the Raleigh, NC branch office.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Managing the NDT Technicians and support staff for the branch office.
• Organizing personnel and equipment to complete NDT jobs.
• Ensuring that equipment and vehicles are properly maintained, calibrated and handled.
• Tracking job progress, quality of work and efficiency.
• Completion and maintenance of reports.
• Acting as a knowledgeable point of contact for customer.
• Providing exemplary customer service.
• Interacting with customers, vendors and site personnel as a professional representative of ATS.
• Maximizing branch office revenue by identifying and acting on sales opportunities with existing and new customers, involving ATS sales staff as necessary.
• Marketing ATS NDT services to new and existing customers.
• Ensuring that ATS personnel adhere to ATS and customer safety programs.
• Occasionally performing and maintaining the certifications to perform NDT inspections in each of the 5 major disciplines, VT, MT, PT, UT and RT.
Skills:
Minimum qualifications:
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the field as a NDT Technician, ideally in the power generation and pulp and paper sectors.
• Certified or at least certifiable to Level II in Visual Testing, VT, Magnetic Particle Testing, MT, Penetrant Testing, PT, Ultrasonic Testing, UT and Radiographic Testing, RT.
• Demonstrated leadership skills proven in NDT or possibly a similar industry
• Excellent communication skills
• Professional demeanor and appearance
• Demonstrated organizational skills
• Knowledge of NDT sales and marketing
Preferred qualifications:
• Sales experience
• Existing contact or knowledge of potential new NDT clients in the region of Raleigh, NC.
