Cold Heading Machinist – multi die cold header, cold forming, fasteners
A growing and expanding manufacturer of fastening solutions has continued to invest in new cold heading equipment and hire employees. Our client has been in business for 40 plus years and employs many long term associates. They offer good benefits and relocation assistance for candidates who live outside of their area. Interested candidates will need 2 plus years of set up and operation of multi-die cold headers. Knowledge of setting dies, hammers, pins, punches, including trim, cut off and upset dies. Experience on nut formers or bolt makers is needed. The ideal candidate will have experience on one or more of these cold header equipment brands such as National, National Formax, Waterbury, Nedschroef, Matsumoto, Nakashimado, Sacma, Asahi Sunac, Carlo Salvi Sakamura, Hartford or other brands of cold forming equipment.
Our client has multiple first shift openings. They run 4, 10 hour days Monday –Thursday and overtime on Fridays. Their area provides a low cost of living, affordable housing, good schools and a great area to raise a family. This corporation will pay for transportation to the interview, hotels, assistance moving household belongings and temporary housing. We also have openings for thread roll operators, tool makers and maintenance mechanics.
MUST HAVE: a minimum of 2 years of experience operating cold heading equipment and the willingness to learn. The ideal candidate will have years of set up and multi-die progressive bolt making or nut forming cold header experience. There are also openings for tool makers, thread roll operator sand maintenance/repair technicians.
