We serve clients in the petroleum, chemical and power industries as well as commercial and residential development, energy, public agencies, schools and agriculture.

DPSI is actively seeking a full -time NDT Level I Technician position for our Bakersfield office. This position must possess hands on experience and verifiable certifications and training.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform non-destructive testing, such as Ultrasonic Corrosion Scanning & Thickness Gauge, Penetrant Testing, Magnetic Particle and Visual inspections.
• Complete company supplied inspection reports and clearly document any findings.
• Responsible for achieving project production and quality goals.
• Create field sketches that adequately illustrate equipment and/or associated piping.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with subordinates, peers, management, external customers, field technicians and inspectors
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet established deadlines
• Ability to foster a cooperative business environment
• Possess skills in organizing resources and establishing priorities
• Possess skills in workflow analysis and management
• Possess computer skills to perform word processing, spreadsheet, database management, presentation and telecommunications
• Possess skills and knowledge in a Windows-based operating system
• Possess knowledge of Safety Regulations

Skills:
Requirements:

NDT Level I Technician in UT, MT, PT, VT, and/or PAUT.

Must have a minimum of 2 years’ of experience in providing inspection services in the Oil & Gas Industry

Candidates must be professional and have excellent written and verbal skills.

Ability to work with little to no supervision.

Ability to work in a team oriented environment.

Competent in Microsoft Office suite of programs
