Outside Sales Specialist

NVI, LLC is searching for a qualified outside salesperson for its Aransas Pass, TX divisional location. NVI, LLC is a nationwide leader in Nondestructive Inspection, Heat Treatment, visual inspection, cathodic protection and interactive traceability systems, and is based out of Gray, La.
This outside sales position will be required to call on oil/gas operators, transmission companies and large and small construction contractors from Corpus Christi, TX to Odessa, TX.
Outside Salespeople strive to develop lasting, ethical customer relationships to maximize potential and meet or exceed sales and gross profit goals. Outside Sales is an integral part of each assigned account, understanding the costumer’s business needs, ensuring our role as their primary supplier to deliver a quality product performed safely. Outside Salesperson’s job responsibilities with NVI, LLC will include, but are not limited to:

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Visit customer offices and job locations to assess customer needs and potential, to develop and maintain strong relationships, and to generate and close sales;
• Process Sales Orders, Bids, Job Information packages;
• Exceed monthly sales targets set forth by the NVI’s Corporate Sales Manager;
• Generate and develop new customer accounts to increase revenue;
• Maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the company in a positive manner;
• Actively manage call schedule to adequately cover assigned territory in a time-efficient manner;
• Actively participate and conduct information only presentations with new or existing customers of company products and services;
• Maintain accurate records, including sales call reports, expense reimbursement forms and reports, and other documentation;
• Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms and/or reports; and,
• Attend project safety meetings and stand downs.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skill Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree is required, and an MBA or other advanced degree is strongly preferred.
• 5-10 years of experience in oil and gas construction operations;
• Professional demeanor, selling style, and appearance;
• Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm;
• Strong organizational and communication skills;
• High level of integrity and work ethic;



• Ability to develop and present multimedia presentations in front of large groups;
• Possess strong critical-thinking skills, the ability and desire to learn;
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and/or passport; and,
• Ability to pass both FBI and company drug/alcohol testing.

Working Conditions:
• Frequent travel is required. Often up to several hours of driving per day;
• Overnight stay in remote locations is required; and,
• Overtime is required.
