NDT Specialist ¡V Baytown, TX
POSITION PURPOSE
Assist in the development and leadership of the NDT program at TMK IPSCO Baytown. Assure that the material quality by means of manual and automated EMI, UT, WFMT and Visual examination for seamless casing and tubular manufacturing operations.
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES
„X Responsible for the evaluation of surface and tubular characteristics for the evaluation of compliance to API 5CT and 5L, i.e. dimensional requirements, ovality, wall thickness, eccentricity, surface condition, etc.
„X Perform as an ASNT Level II in MT, UT, VT and ET (flux leakage)
„X Perform daily process controls, calibration checks and maintain accurate records (logs) per quality program requirements
„X General housekeeping and preventive maintenance are essential to minimize contamination for safe operation of equipment
„X Troubleshoot and solve any issues that may arise with inspection equipment and data acquisition system
„X Work with project team to keep inspection group well supplied with all necessary materials and equipment in proper working condition
„X Maintain reporting in project documentation on a daily basis
INCUMBENT ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE
This position does not have any direct reports, but will indirectly supervise16-20 Level I and Level II NDT Inspectors.

„X 3+ years of NDT experience plus 1+ years as a Supervisor
