This job is located in Greenville, Texas.

Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment. Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms, and equipment; conducts quality assurance tests; and performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications. Audits quality systems for deficiency identification and correction. Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements. Must be able to meet NAS 410 requirements in Nondestructive testing methods Eddy Current, Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, Ultrasonic, X-ray. MAUS V, Thermography, Digital Radiography and OMNI Scan technologies are also methods to be considered. Performs non-destructive testing (NDT) of aircraft, engines, support equipment, and components with specialized equipment as required for the detection of faults or defects using NDT methods such as eddy current (ET), liquid penetrant (PT), magnetic particle (MT), x-ray (RT), ultrasonics (UT).
Skills:
Must meet the minimum requirements per the NAS 410 to be considered as a Level II inspector.
At a minimum Eddy current, Ultrasonic, and Liquid Penetrant are required methods to qualify for this position.
Good communication and computer skills.
Must be able to travel in and outside of the United States, work all shifts, including weekends, and overtime when required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance, which requires US citizenship.
Bachelors degree with 0-2 years of direct experience to meet NAS 410 requirements. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Must be able to follow manufacturer's manual, tech data, and company procedures. SAP, MAUS, A&P License and Thermography experience are a plus.
This position requires normal physical functions such as lifting, climbing ladders, etc .
Will be required to comply with all safety requirements and will need to access tight fit areas such as aircraft fuel tanks.
Must be able to work off of elevated platforms and on top of aircraft.
