Purpose:
The Project Manager is responsible for the smooth execution of service projects in an organized manner to guarantee quality, meet contractual commitments, exceed customer’s expectations, and maximize the project’s gross margin.

Role and Responsibilities:
• Manages and controls projects according to the company Project Management processes
• Creates and maintains project-specific procedures
• Conducts pre-job meetings with clients
• Conducts research to implement inspection
• Coordinates logistics with client
• Oversees the implementation of the project within the company
• Works closely with Data Analysis department for preliminary and final reports
• Generates invoices against the Purchase Order
• Gathers pipeline information
• Analyzes information provided by the sales team
• Records data in Kumavision, Global SharePoint, and Back Log
• Works directly with Operations Manager
• Works in coordination with Global Resourcing located in Germany
• Ensures payment is received within terms
• Reviews opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies at the position level
• Performs other job duties as assigned

Qualifications and Educational Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Associate’s degree in Electronics Engineering Technology, or in a compatible technical-related discipline, or equivalent work experience
• Project Management Certification or ability to complete certification from the Project Management Institute as a Project Management Professional (PMP) within the first year on the role
• Full command of the English language.
• Understanding of the full cycle/stages of pipeline inspection projects, from Customer Inquiry to Revenue Recognition a plus
• Experience in the management of projects for the Oil & Gas service industry is preferred
• Practical knowledge in personnel management
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license and Canadian Passport
• Must successfully pass pre-employment testing and background screening
