Engineering, Testing, and Inspection company. This company
was incorporated in 1961 and has over 50 years industrial
experience providing inspection services to the
aircraft, aerospace, utility, paper mill, petrochemical,
and construction industries. Space Science Services, Inc.
located in Orlando, Fl. is currently seeking to fill a
position for NDT Level II inspector with certifications in
any of the following methods ( multiple certifications
helpful) Radiography, Ultrasonic, Magnetic Particle,
Penetrant, Visual or Eddy Current, ETC.

Job Duties:
• Responsible for the set up and calibration of testing
equipment
• Prepares parts for testing per documented standards and
procedures.
• Complete required documents and paperwork relating to the
inspection functions
• Responsible for reviewing and updating procedures.
• Provide inspections ensuring the satisfaction of drawings,
standards, codes, and customer requirements as defined.
• Communicates inspection findings and/or problems
associated with the product
• Identify and report nonconforming conditions.
• Be familiar with codes, standards, and other contractual
documents that control the method as used by the employer
• Assist other Inspectors with inspections.
• Comply with Company policy and procedures on Quality
Assurance as well as Company Health and Safety Policy.
• Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary by the
supervisor
• Documents service and installation actions by completing
forms, reports, and inspection checklist
• Position is full time 40+ hours weekly.

Skills:

Requirements:
• GED or higher
• NDT Level II certification REQUIRED
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work with little supervision
• 2+ years inspection experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

Standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing,
pulling, reaching, handling, fingering, feeling, talking,
hearing, visual acuity, accommodation and color vision;
moving, carrying and lifting objects in excess of 50 pounds;
climbing and working off of ladders, stairs and scaffolding
in excess of 100 feet; working extended hours and standing
for extended periods of time; Working in indoor and outdoor
environments in conditions of extreme heat and cold; work in
and near industrial hazards.
