POSITION SUMMARY:
International Inspection, Inc is seeking a Level II Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) UT Technician to join the Seattle team in the beautiful city of Seattle, WA. The technician will be a part of a team that provides Ultrasonic, Liquid Penetration, Visual, and Magnetic Particle testing and support to our wide range of local and international clients.

The team performs daily inspections at the various shipyards locally and internationally as well as class surveys such as: ABS, Lloyds, DNV, and GL, as well as pre-shipyard steel renewal assessments. The variety of work and clients allows for an exciting career that allows technicians to travel and see the world.
Skills:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Individuals should possess documented classroom training hours in at least three (3) of the following methods: UT, MT, PT, and VT from an accredited NDT school. Radiography experience a plus.

This Technician also needs to be able to work in confined spaces and heights. Individuals must have basic computer skills including MSWord, Excel, and AutoCAD is a plus.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
NDT Technicians must be able to lift up to 50lbs of gear and materials, must be able to be on your feet for long periods of time. Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits the employee to communicate effectively. Sufficient vision or other powers of observation, with or without reasonable accommodations, which permits the employee to investigate. Sufficient manual dexterity with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits the employee to perform routine duties. Sufficient personal mobility to maneuver within a marine vessel or industrial environment to include the ability to gain access to elevated platforms via narrow ladders and stairwells.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education & Training:
Each candidate must be able to provide proof of:
- High school diploma, GED, or college certification
- ASNT/SNT-TC-1A documented training
- Valid Driver’s license
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- TWIC Card (or ability to obtain a valid TWIC card)

Experience:
- Exposure to typical NDT working environments
- ASNT Level II certifications UTT and/or UTSW
- Marine experience with vessel nomenclature knowledge.

Industry: Industrial, Fabrication, Welding, Construction, Nuclear power, transportation, Petrochemical, Marine.

Pay: Commensurate with experience and qualifications
