Manufacturing Engineer – Hydromat, dial transfer, rotary
transfer, trunnion transfer machines

corporation is searching for a Manufacturing Engineer to
support their production machining area. This division
has many long term employees enjoying their careers.
This position is open due to the retirement of a valued

We are searching for Manufacturing Engineers to support
and process rotary transfer machines. The ideal
candidate will have experience tooling and processing
Hydromat rotary transfer machines. Our client is looking
for a minimum of 5 years of manufacturing engineering and
experience processing rotary transfer equipment. They
will consider degreed engineers or heavy on the job
experience and continuing education. The Manufacturing
Engineer will review prints / solid models, select the
proper machine and develop the process. Knowledge of
cutting tool design and strong cutting tool applications
is needed. The Manufacturing Engineer designs special
from, shave, drill, step drill, ream, recess, insert and
variety of cutting tools. Past experience calculating
cycle times, feeds / speeds, chip loads and material
usage is also needed. The Manufacturing Engineer will
specify collets, cutting tools, tool holders, work
holding devices, injector rods and accessories. Past
experience troubleshooting PLC and/or programming or
editing machining heads is preferred. Manufacturing
Engineers with experience troubleshooting valves, units,
machine heads and cutting tool issues is preferred. This
position involves working with machine operators,
quality, production and maintenance. Our client has
Legacy, NT and EPIC model Hydromats. Experience working
with hydraulic and CNC control systems is a plus.
Knowledge of similar rotary transfer machines such as:
Gnutti, Buffoli, Kingsbury, Wirth & Gruffat, Eubama.

MUST HAVE: a minimum of 5 years of experience tooling,
processing, process improvements and troubleshooting
either Hydromat or other brands of rotary transfer
machines. Degreed candidates are preferred, however,
direct rotary transfer on the job experience will be
strongly considered. Knowledge of cutting tool design is
a must.
