Quality Control Manager/Engineer in Bergen County, NJ based Private Company.




RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:

•Review contracts, purchase orders, and techniques.
•Design and implementation of policy procedures.
•Ensure quality standards are met during production.
•Root cause & corrective actions related to in-process and finished products.
•Maintain quality system.
•Interact with customer, quality and engineering personnel.
•Ensure compliance with all customer requirements.
•Work with internal, external, and 3rd party certification organizations.
•Maintain internal audits and control quality system certificate audits.
•Handle instrument calibration requirements.
•Improve process, methods, and efficiency.
•Follow lean manufacturing requirements.

Requirements:

•5+ years in a manufacturing environment
•Level 2 inspector
•Level 3 NDT preferred but not necessary
•Experienced in ISO9001, AS9100, NADCAP and NDT
•Proficient in reading technical drawings and documents
•Strong troubleshooting skills
•Excellent written, verbal and computer skills
•Ability to work independently and as a team
