We are currently accepting resumes from experienced Radiographer Assistant (RT Level I) for our Portland, Oregon location. In this role the successful individual will be able to perform x-ray of pipe-end SAW welds with a CR (Fuji) radiographic system.
Skills:
Requirements:

•Certification to basic in-house radiation safety training course and ASNT SNT-TC-1A UT Level I required.
•Level I Ultrasonic Testing Certification or 400 hours experience in the field
•UT experience in lamination/thickness testing and/or radiographic experience with API 5L, AWS or equivalent is desirable
•20/22 Corrected Near Vision in both eyes (tested annually)
•Strong attention to detail, close observation and concentration skills
•Excellent decision making, planning and organizational skills
•Excellent written and oral communication skills
•Good manual dexterity, eye-hand coordination, mechanical aptitude
•Completion of Basic Math Assessment required
•Able to work in an environment subject to fluctuations in heat, humidity, fumes, odors, dust and noise
•Overtime and shift work required

Preferred Requirements:

•1-3 years job-related documented experience with Level I Ultrasonic Testing certification and thorough knowledge of a highly technical field.
•Current IRRSP Radiation Safety Certificate a plus
