Key Responsibilities:
•Perform of above ground storage tanks, pipelines,
pressure vessels to the appropriate standards. This
would include In-Service, Out-of-Service, Repair
Inspections, etc.
•Provide accurate and timely observations in accordance
with the techniques and procedures outlined by the
company, industry and certification held.
•Receive instructions on specific assignments,
objectives, and complex features
•Document results and obtain photographic documentation
of work product.
•Determine compliance with technical documents and
industry specific standards and codes
•Prepare written report of findings.
•Prepare detailed daily job reports and discuss projects
with supervisor on a daily basis.
•Climb elevated tower/ladder +/- 200-foot elevation.
Safety Equipment to be utilized throughout tank climbing
operations.

Qualifications Include:
•API 653
•OSHA Hazwoper Training (24 hour minimum)
•ASNT NDT Certification in the following a plus
oUltrasonic Testing (UT)
oLiquid Penetrant Testing (PT)
oVisual Weld Testing (VT)
oMagnetic Particle Testing (MT)
•PA DEP IAM/IAF Certification
•TWIC Card a plus

Education and Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Fundamental computer skills – Microsoft Word, Excel,
Outlook
• Working Knowledge of 650 and 653, ASME VIII and IX, and
ANSI/ASME B31.1
•Ability to read construction drawings.
•Ability to perform strenuous work in a varying climate
(Heat and cold, etc)
•Have and maintain a valid and clean driver’s license.
•Ability to lift and carry +/- 50 pounds
•Ability to stand, climb and walk continuously during an
8+ hour period.
