We are currently accepting resumes from experienced Radiographer Testers (RT Level II) for our Portland, Oregon location. In this role the successful individual should be able to interpret or evaluate test results in accordance with applicable codes, standards, specifications or procedures.

Responsibilities:
•Perform hands-on X-Ray of weld repairs, pipe-end and jointer welds with DR and/or CR techniques to EVRAZ radiation safety and NDT procedures
•Interpret images for pass/fail to applicable codes, storing images and processing pipe to written instructions
•Perform on the job training of RT Level I and Radiographer Assistants with respect to radiation safety, image acquisition, image interpretation and processing of pipe
Skills:
Requirements:
•Able to work in an environment subject to fluctuations in heat, humidity, fumes, odors, dust and noise
•Successful completion of Math Skills Test
•RT Level II Certification (DR & CR to ASNT SNT-TC-1A 2011) or ability to be certified within 1 month
•Industrial Radiation Safety Certified specifically in X-Ray (ASNT/IRRSP or equivalent)
•20/22 Corrected/Uncorrected Near Vision in both eyes and a successful completion of a Brightness Discrimination Test
•Strong attention to detail, close observation and concentration skills
•Excellent decision making, planning and organizational skills
•Good manual dexterity, eye-hand coordination, mechanical aptitude
•Excellent written and oral communication
•Overtime and shift work required
Preferred Requirements:
•3 years of hands-on documented experience with industrial X-ray tubes and image interpretation (CR and DR) of weldments of steel fabricated products to AWS, API, ASME or codes with equivalent acceptance criteria
