Product Manager (Probes)

Probes make up a significant portion of Zetec’s revenue base. The Product
Manager for BoP and Oil & Gas eddy current probes will be responsible for
gathering and documenting customer requirements, analyzing the
competitive landscape, creating pricing and marketing strategies, and
managing the product portfolio throughout the product lifecycle. The
individual will work with cross-functional teams (customers, sales, marketing,
applications, engineers and supply chain/manufacturing) to develop probe
product specifications and define product offerings having the best
opportunity for product line and business unit growth. The ideal candidate
must possess strong analytical skills and have the ability to effectively
communicate technical and market information to internal and external
customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge & Skills
Working knowledge of eddy current tube and surface array probes and
instruments.
Working knowledge of marketing principles and the product development
process.

Education Minimum Requirements/Equivalent
Bachelor’s Degree in a related Science/Engineering discipline or equivalent
work experience.
MBA or other business education or training preferred.

Professional Experience
Five or more years of experience in product marketing, product management,
or technical sales.
Three or more years of technical experience in eddy current probes or other
eddy current products.
NDE experience preferred.

Travel Requirements
The individual in this position must be able to travel outside the U.S.
Up to 30% travel required. (Amount of travel per year is not guaranteed).
