A division of a large corporation is expanding again.
They are a tier one supplier of power train and
transmission components. This division continues to
invest in new capital equipment and hire. They have many

We are searching for a team orientated Quality Manager to
lead, guide, coach and mentor a dedicated group of
quality professionals. The Quality Manager is one of the
core management team members helping to drive this
division to the next level. This manager will oversee
Quality Engineers, Quality Supervisors, skilled
Inspectors and Auditors. The Quality Manager is
responsible for maintaining and improving the Quality
Management Systems in a TS-16949 certified environment.
This position will be a champion of internal audit and
adherence to TS-16949. The Quality Manager reviews the
quality manual, procedures, work instructions, forms and
the entire plant quality system for compliance to current
automotive standards. Experience leading cross
functional teams to achieve company’s goals, objectives,
continuous improvement efforts and new product launches
is needed. This position will interact, develop
relationships and negotiate with customers on programs
and related quality related issues. The Quality Manager
will participate, review and oversee APQP requirements as
they relate to PPAP, FMEA, control plans, work
instructions and customer required documents. Knowledge
of SPC, statistical analysis and methodology is needed.
The Quality Manager will analyze data to identify trends
having a proactive approach. Strong planning, leadership
and communication skills is required. The Quality
Manager will continue to instill communication, providing
training throughout the organization.

MUST HAVE: a minimum of 7 years of quality management in
a high volume automotive TS-16949 certified environment.
Interested candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree and
champion AIAG standards. Past experience as a team
member launching new programs is a must. The Quality
Manager will need the ability to work with associates at
all levels of the company. We are searching for a roll
up the sleeves interactive manager. Candidates with a
ASQ, CQM and CQE certifications are preferred.
