CNC Mill Turn Programmer

We are searching for an experienced Mill/Turn CNC
Programmer to program and prove out new repeatable
machining processes. The mill-turn CNC programmer
interprets drawings and/or solid models to develop the
best method for machining components. This position
involves selecting equipment, calculating cycle times,
specifying cutting tools, tool holder and collets. The
millturn programmer will generate CNC code to optimize
the process. Past experience using cam software such as
Surfcam, Mastercam, Featurecam, Smartcam, Esprit and/or
Partmaker is preferred, but not required. The company
will provide training on their cam software. Interested
candidates with experience creating Macro B programs for
families of parts or common operations is a plus. Mill
Turn CNC Programmer will need good shop math skills using
algebra and trigonometry. Past experience documenting
set up sheets, tool lists and work instructions is
needed. The ideal candidate will have direct experience
on Mazak Integrex and/or Mori Seiki NTX mill/turns.
Experience on other brands of mill/turn machines will be
strongly considered. Knowledge of Mazatrol and Fanuc
controls is preferred. The Mill-Turn CNC Programmer will
also work on continuous improvements of cutting tools,
processes and CNC programs. Past experience reducing
cycle times, set up time, tool cost and tool changes is a
plus. Interested candidates will need solid CNC
programming, processing, set up and troubleshooting
experience. Past experience working in a medical device,
ISO-13485, FDA regulated environment is a plus.
Knowledge of precision measuring tools such as calipers,
micrometers, depth, gauges and indicators. Good
communication and computer skills is required.

MUST HAVE: 5 plus years of CNC programming, processing
and set up skills directly on CNC mill/turn. Knowledge
of cam software is a plus. Direct experience on Mazak
and/or Mori Seiki millturn CNC’s is preferred. Strong
shop math skill is a must.
Evident Ultrasonic Inspection Equipment
